Kapel has 17+ years of experience in Alternative Asset Management Industry managing funds across its entire Fund life cycle from setting up fund structures, drafting & finalizing fund and deal documentation, deal execution, asset management, valuations, investor reporting servicing to exit management. Prior to joining MegaDelta, Kapel was head of fund operations & investor servicing for the Alternative Asset business of Edelweiss Financial Services. At Edelweiss, Kapel was managing operations of 9 Credit Funds worth ~$ 2.0 Bn+, designed, introduced & implemented Valuation policy for the Funds to align with global industry practices. Before Edelweiss, he was CFO for a $ 100 Mn real estate fund based in UK for 8 years, where he spearheaded funds structuring, deal structuring, deal documentation, asset management, investor reporting, treasury management, taxation & compliance. He has also had extensive experience in Advisory and Assurance experience with Ernst & Young (Transaction Advisory and Assurance & Advisory). At MegaDelta, Kapel is the locus of control for all matters spanning across investments, portfolio management, exits, investor servicing, finance & compliance.
